While individual essences work wonders, there are immense benefits from taking a personalized blend that contains multiple flower essences that work in cosmic collaboration. This is where Flower Essence Consultations come in!
In our session (held online in a safe and grounded container), we’ll listen deeply to your story and intentions, allowing the flowers to guide us toward a medley of essences that speak to your needs, be it desires and dreams you would like to blossom, wounds or blocks you need help moving past, the wish to change behavior patterns or habits, addictions, inspirations, aspirations, or simply energies you’d like to infuse deeper into your life. In this consultation, we will get to the ROOT of things — this is why it’s helpful to work with a practitioner when coming up with a personalized blend: while we may understand some of our behaviors or symptoms, when we enter into intuitive conversation, patterns are revealed and the whole story may unveil itself rather than bits and pieces.
Your blend will be thoughtfully crafted after our session in mindful ritual and ceremony, infused with intention and care. This formula will support you for about a month — afterward, you may choose to order another bottle of your personalized blend or book a follow-up consultation to receive a new formula. I am always available for support via email if you are uncertain which path to follow.
*Because essences may be taken in a glass of water, the amount of alcohol ingested is miniscule. However, if you have alcohol sensitivities or triggers, please let me know and I will make your blend with vinegar or glycerine
What are flower essences?
Flower essences are liquid infusions of blossoms, carrying the subtle vibrational wisdom of the plant world. They work gently yet profoundly, helping to restore balance, open the heart, and align you with your truest self. Similar to homeopathic remedies, they are made by infusing the energetic imprint of the flower into water, then distilled with brandy (or vinegar or glycerine for a non-alcoholic option). Flower essence medicine is captured with the help of fresh spring or well water, the sun, and sometimes the moon. Drops of these dosage essences are usually added to a glass of water, or can be placed under the tongue. The dosage usually is 4 drops twice a day, although can be increased as needed or depending on the particular essence. Because Flower Essences are made using the energetic imprint and all plant material is removed after a few hours or day (or night) of floating on top of water, there are no contraindications as you are not actually ingesting any plant matter, as you would in a traditional herbal tincture.
In 2019, after years of working in education, I decided I wanted to work on a flower farm. The flowers were just calling me. This was before sustainable, small-scale flower farming was as big of thing as it is now, so I found one of the few in my area, emailed them, and got a job. There was something about tending to and being among the flowers that really moved me. At the time Sunflowers were my favorite flower and were speaking to me loudly. When I was around the sunflowers, I couldn’t take my eyes off of them. They were so big and bright and confident, their heliotropic faces always orienting toward the sun, soaking it up and reflecting its brilliance. All qualities I had often struggled embodying throughout my life. I happened upon a Sunflower flower essence at the local apothecary and found that the energy I received from just being around the Sunflowers was the exact same energy that the essence is known to awaken. So here I started my several years long journey taking Sunflower essence. This flower essence awakened in me a boldness, brightness, and confidence I hadn’t always been able to access before, shifting my energy in a big and beautiful way that I really needed at the time, especially as I was going through and coming out of my Saturn Return, during which I had cocooned deeply, shed some unaligned friendships, moved to a new town, and gotten sober.
Over the past few years, I have studied the magic work of Flower Essences and built deeper relationships with the flowers I grow from seed, the perennials I have in my garden, and witness in the wild around me. I hope to connect many people with this magical medicine that has so much to offer us.
